Erin Roberts
Erin is a member of the American Montessori Society, is certified at two levels (0-3 and 3-6), and has enjoyed nearly 20 years of experience as a Montessori Directress. She is a Certified Positive Discipline Parenting Coach, and also has training in the Orton Gillingham Method. She is passionately committed to honoring the unique individuality of her students and to nurturing each child’s Whole Development. She believes that interaction with the land and time spent in nature are imperative (and often neglected) aspects of education; and she is thrilled to be able to share this with her students on the Mighty Oaks Farmstead. She seeks to provide a holistic early educational experience for each one of her students which will foster early independence, academic fortitude, and peaceful citizenship. Erin’s heart is guided by her traditional Christian values and she opened Mighty Oaks with a service mindset.
Kirsten D’Onofrio
Ms. Kirsten has lived in North Carolina since 2008, relocating from New York after photography school. She has been a part of the Mighty Oaks community since 2017. Supporting each child as they develop their creativity, social, and problem solving skills while guiding them to explore the classroom materials are all things that she feels passionately about.
She resides in Fairview with her husband and two children, who are also part of the school community. Outside the classroom, she enjoys traveling, spending quality time with friends and family, thrifting vintage goods, and indulging in her passion for art.
